1. Information We Collect

When you use Helpli, we collect the following types of information:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Create and manage your account
• Set up and run your personal helpers
• Send you notifications and reminders at the times you choose
• Provide personalized suggestions (meal ideas, home tips, etc.)
• Improve the app and fix issues

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Third-Party Services

Helpli uses the following third-party services to operate:

When you chat with your helpers, your messages are processed by language models through OpenRouter to generate responses. These messages are used only to respond to your request and are not used to train models or for any other purpose.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with the following protections:

• Encryption in transit — All data is transmitted over TLS/SSL encrypted connections
• Encryption at rest — Stored data is encrypted on disk
• Row-level security — Database policies ensure you can only access your own data
• Secure authentication — Handled by Supabase Auth with no passwords stored on our servers
• Webhook security — Internal system communications are authenticated with secret tokens

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and you continue to use the App. Specifically:

• Account data — Kept while your account exists
• Helper configurations — Kept while the helper is active; deleted when you remove the helper
• Chat messages — Kept as conversation history; deleted when you remove the helper
• Push tokens — Automatically cleaned up when they become invalid

When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correct — Update inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export — Receive your data in a standard, portable format
• Withdraw consent — Revoke permissions (like contacts access) at any time through your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

Helpli is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The Helpli mobile app does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics SDKs. We do not track your behavior across apps or websites.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date
• Notify you through the App

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
